Apple iPhone coming this June...

We know it's happening but we just don't know when, so we are waiting patiently for the BIG announcement, though reports are saying that the 3G iPhone will be out in the second week of next month.

Presumably the 3G version will make an appearance when

Apple has its WWDC Keynote on June 9th this year. So we are assuming the updated handset will soon be ready to hit the shelves. That makes no difference to us of course, as I’m sure most of us will be quite thrilled with just having the first generation model make its way here officially later this year.

Why would Apple launch an outdated model in a country that's the fastest growing mobile market? But then again, why shouldn’t we at least hope if not expect the 3G version to be launched here when it does in a few months.
