O2 Xda Zest PDA

O2 has unveiled its Xda Zest PDA, thus adding another Xda to its expanding range of O2 branded handsets. The O2 Xda Zest is designed to encourage first time PDA-users to move away from conventional handsets and experience the benefits of using a fully-featured PDA. The Xda Zest has been designed with a sleek finger-friendly touch interface and a 2.8-inch TFT screen making it extremely easy to navigate.
Designed exclusively for O2 by the established laptop-manufacturer Asus, the handset comes equipped with GPS-mapping and runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. Users will have access to their email using Mobile Outlook, while having the capability to easily view and edit Microsoft Office documents in Word, Excel and even PowerPoint. The Xda Zest boasts built-in Wi-Fi and HSDPA for fast connection to the web. The handset also has a 3-megapixel camera, along with an MP3 player.
As of now, the Zest will be available in the UK on O2’s Pay&Go, from this month and will be priced at around Rs 18,337 (£249.99). No word on its availability in India yet.
