ZTE U990

ZTE Corporation has officially announced the U990 device - an HSDPA TD-SCDMA mobile handset.

This handset, first unveiled last week, is ZTE's third high-end TD-SCDMA mobile handset model and will soon be available in the market. The two other models are the U980 and U981.

The U990 has a transmission rate of up to 2.8 Mbps and supports dual mode TD-SCDMA/EDGE, allowing seamless transition between..

the two networks. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, is 3G- and EDGE-enabled and equipped with both GPS/AGPS navigation technologies.
