
This August will be three years since the first walkman phone was launched. In celebration, Sony Ericsson has unveiled three new walkman phones: the W902, the W595 and the W302.
The W902 features a scratch-resistant 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 5-megapixel camera, and music navigation keys. It comes bundled with headphones and an 8 GB Memory Stick Micro (M2). It is a UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in selected markets in black, red and green in Q4 of 2008.

too features a 2.2-inch screen and comes with a 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) and features built-in stereo speakers and a stereo share jack. Users can make play lists that match their moods with SensMe and change the tune or raise the volume with a flick of their wrist using Shake control. It features Bluetooth stereo and has a 3.2 megapixel camera.
The W595 walkman is a UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in selected markets in blue, white, grey and black in Q4 of 2008.
The W302 is a 10.5-mm, slim, aluminum front handset that comes with a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, TrackID, Bluetooth Stereo and 512MB Memory Stick Micro (M2).
The W302 walkman is a GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in black and white colours in Q4 2008.
"To deliver walkman phones that target all segments of the market has always been our aim since the successful launch of our first - the W800." said Ben Padley, head of the music Category at Sony Ericsson. "It has always been our vision to deliver music on the go to the masses, by developing a range that caters to a wide variety of requirements, tastes and price-points."
No pricing has been set for the handsets as yet.
