Samsung's latest version of the popular Blackjack Windows Mobile phone is all set for launch. The latest BlackJack (II) dubbed SGH-i617 is rumored to have an integrated GPS module – the SiRF III GPS receiver, which is apparently hardware-based.
There’s not too much information available yet, but it is almost definite that the phone will run on Windows Mobile 6.0 and will be a Quad-band GMS phone with HSDPA. Since this is an upgrade the BlackJack will mostly sport the same design as its predecessor, along with the Wi-Fi and QWERTY keypad. It should also retain
Bluetooth with A2DP. There’s no word on camera resolution, but hopefully there will be an upgrade from the earlier version.
No other information on specs, nor any details about price or release dates.
